Driver side hose bed cover is heavy. Do not attempt to lift driver side hose bed
cover without the aid of an assistant and a suitable lifting device. Failure to comply
may result in serious injury or death to personnel and damage to equipment.
4.
Attach suitable lifting device to driver side hose bed cover (2).
CAUTION
When removing screws attaching driver side hose bed cover hinge, first remove
middle eighteen screws only. Failure to comply may result in damage to
equipment.
5.
Remove 18 screws (8) from driver side hose bed cover hinge (9) and vehicle.
6.
With the aid of an assistant, remove two screws (8) and driver side hose bed cover hinge (9) from hose bed
cover (2) and vehicle.
7.
Remove 20 locknuts (10), washers (11), screws (12), and driver side hose bed cover hinge (9) from driver side
hose bed cover (2). Discard locknuts.
