Remove rings, wristwatches, neck chains, and any other jewelry before working
around vehicle. Jewelry can catch on equipment and cause serious injury. Jewelry
and tools may short across electrical circuits and cause damage to equipment, or
severe burns or electrical shock to personnel.
NOTE
Wire is cut at butt splice connector.
Step 6.
Turn battery disconnect switch to OFF position (WP 0007). Remove passenger side
dome light (WP 0357). Cut crew cab wire harness wire 1640 at passenger side dome
light. Check for continuity across wire 1640 to a known good ground.

If continuity is present, replace passenger side dome light (WP 0357).

If continuity is not present, repair wire 1640 in crew cab wire harness if
repairable (TM 9-2320-325-14&P), or replace crew cab wire
harness (WP 0446).
