Remove rings, wristwatches, neck chains, and any other jewelry before working
around vehicle. Jewelry can catch on equipment and cause serious injury. Jewelry
and tools may short across electrical circuits and cause damage to equipment, or
severe burns or electrical shock to personnel.
Step 39.
Put EMERG MASTER and UPPER REAR WARNING switches to off position
(WP 0004). Turn Service Drive Lights Off (TM 9-2320-347-10). Turn battery
disconnect switch to OFF position (WP 0007). Open upper stowage compartment
hatch T1 (WP 0010). Remove warning light protector (WP 0351). Disconnect
passenger side body wire harness upper rear warning light connector. Remove
personnel cab instrument panel A (WP 0311). Disconnect cab instrument panel wire
harness upper rear warning light flasher connector. With a test lead set, check for
continuity across wire 1612 (black) from passenger side body wire harness warning
light connector, terminal 3 to cab instrument panel wire harness upper rear warning light
flasher unit connector, terminal 3.
