5-44. EXHAUST PIPE AND EXHAUST OUTLET PIPE-Continued
b.
Installation.
(1) Connect exhaust outlet pipe (7) to engine using V-band clamp (9).
(2) Install exhaust pipe (6) on exhaust outlet pipe (7) and muffler (8).
(3) Position seal clamp (3) as shown and secure with two bolts (2) and two nuts (1).Torque nuts (1) to
30 lb ft (41 N•m).
(4) Tighten two nuts (4) on muffler clamp (5).
(5) Close passenger side engine cover.

(1) Connect batteries (see para 4-114).
