Follow-on Maintenance.
(1) Connect batteries (see para 4-114).
(2) Start engine. Operate each of the ladder control levers in both directions. Open door and check for
leaks. Tighten or remake any leaking connections.
(3) Check fluid level in hydraulic tank and add hydraulic oil as required.
