WHEEL CYLINDERS
Two types of wheel cylinders are used in the
hydraulic brake system. Different combinations of these two
types of cylinders are used on different model trucks. Fig. 5
illustrates a singlepiston wheel cylinder and Fig. 6 illustrates

a double-piston wheel cylinder. The wheel cylinder assembly
is the unit that changes the applied hydraulic pressure into
mechanical force to actuate the brake shoes,
