FAILURE ANALYSIS
This   failure   analysis   section   has   been   prepared   to   assist   servicemen   in   diagnosing   the   cause   of   failed   tire   and   wheel
components.  The section contains various corrective measures for preventing the reoccurrence of the same type failure.
This publication has been compiled from actual case histories in an effort to record information that will be of assistance in
analyzing tire, wheel, rim, or stud failures.
Proper wheel and tire maintenance is more than simple parts replacement.  It also includes the application of mechanical skills
and knowledge for reassembly, lubrication and periodic inspection.
