1-1. SCOPE.
a.
Type of Manual. Operator's, Organizational, Direct Support and General Support Maintenance Manual, in-
cluding Repair Parts and Special Tools List.
b.
Model Number and Equipment Name. Model CM-KFT-8, Twin Agent 4x4 Firefighting Truck.
c.
Purpose of Equipment. The CM-KFT-8 Firefighting Truck is designed to combat aircraft and automotive
fires. The truck will accomplish the firefighting mission by providing aqueous film forming foam (AFFF) and
dry chemical (P-K-P) from a self-contained agent system.
d.
Special Limitations of Equipment. There are no special limitations on this firetruck.

Department of the Army forms and procedures used for equipment will be those prescribed by DA PAM 738-750,
The Army Maintenance Management System (TAMMS).
1-3. REPORTING EQUIPMENT IMPROVEMENT RECOMMENDATIONS (EIR's).
If your Twin Agent 4x4 Firefighting Truck needs improvement, let us know. Send us an EIR. You, the user, are the
only one who can tell us what you don't like about your equipment. Let us know why you don't like the design. Put it
on an SF 368 (Quality Deficiency Report). Mail it to us at: Commander, U.S. Army Troop Support Command,
ATTN: AMSTR-QX, 4300 Goodfellow Boulevard, St. Louis, MO 63120-1798. We'll send you a reply.
1-4. WARRANTY INFORMATION.
The Twin Agent 4x4 Firefighting Truck is warranted for one year after date of acceptance by the Government. Re-
port all defects in material or workmanship to your supervisor, who will take appropriate action through your organ-
izational maintenance shop.
