REMOVAL
a. Using an oil can or similar means, squirt rubber
lubricant (Appendix D, Item 24) solvent on the
tar paper line filler (1) all around the glass
channel (2) or frame to soften the old seal.
b. When the seal has softened, remove the glass
(3) and old filler from the channel (2).
INSTALLATION
a. Thoroughly clean the inside of the glass channel
(2) with sand-paper (Appendix D, Item 38) to
NOTE
remove all rust and foreign matter.
Usually the following procedure is done
with a mechanical window press.
b. Cut the new piece of glass channel filler (1) 2
d. Squeeze together the doubled ends of the filler
