Install end yoke onto the splined shaft so that the
yokes are in matched position.

Install a new locknut (1) onto the splined shaft.

Supporting end yoke (2) in a vise, torque locknut to
450 ft lb (610 Nm).

Once assembled, lubricate the center bearing until
grease (item 16, Appendix E) is expelled from
covers.
