Remove and discard lock wire (1) from machine thread plug (2).

Loosen setscrew (3).

Remove machine thread plug (2), helical compression spring (4), and V bearing (5).

CAUTION
Support cross level knob in V block on solid surface to prevent damage to worm shaft.

Drive headless straight pin (6) out.
