NOTE
The following steps are written and illustrated for the M17 quadrant but also apply
to the M18 quadrant.

Set counters (1) at zero. Scribe a line on base assembly (2) and housing assembly (3) to facilitate
correct counter installation.

WARNING
To avoid injury to personnel and damage to equipment, cover assembly will only be
removed if counters are fully illuminated. Place cover assembly in secure area and
exercise caution to avoid breakage of nuclear lamps.
