DESTRUCTION OF ARMY MATERIEL TO PREVENT ENEMY USE
For procedures to destroy this equipment to prevent its use by the enemy, refer to TM 750-244-6, Procedures for
Destruction of Tank-Automotive Equipment to Prevent Enemy Use.
PREPARATION FOR STORAGE OR SHIPMENT
Detailed procedures for preparing the firefighting, fire alarm, and fire suppression systems for storage or ship-
ment are contained in TB 740-97-4, Preservation of Vessels for Storage and TM 38-470, Storage and Mainte-
nance of Army Prepositioned Stock Materiel. The firefighting, fire alarm, and fire suppression systems must be
prepared for storage or shipment in accordance with that publication.
WARRANTY INFORMATION
Unit maintenance maintains records of the warranty status of equipment on the firefighting, fire alarm, and fire
suppression systems. The warranty starts on the date found in block 23 of DA Form 2408-9 (Equipment Control
Record). Report all defects to your supervisor, who will take appropriate action.
