NOTE
Integrated siren control amplifier will produce a faint audible signal which can be heard at
siren control even if siren speaker or wiring leading to siren speaker fails.
Step 8.
Reconnect cab power distribution wire harness siren control connector MP2. Remove
skid plate grille (WP 0550). Disconnect main wire harness main 3 connector. Turn
battery disconnect switch to ON position (WP 0007). Put EMERG MASTER switch to
on position (WP 0004). Put siren control selector switch to WAIL, YELP, and HI-LO,
one position at a time (WP 0004). Check if siren output can be heard at siren control.
If siren can be heard at siren control, go to Step 15.
