Installation.
WARNING
Serious injury could occur if heavy equipment is moved/lifted
without sufficient personnel to do the job. Use proper physical
lifting procedures or use a suitable lifting device or dolly. Wear
safety shoes, gloves and other suitable protective clothing.
Ladder sections weigh approximately one ton each. Area should
be clear of other personnel. Serious injury or death can result
from falling objects.
(1) Connect a six ton overhead crane with a spreader I-beam to support the ladder while it is being
lifted and connected to the truck. However, if available, two overhead cranes (minimum rating three
tons each) may be used, one hooked to each end of the ladder assembly.
(2) Tie both ladder locks (1) in open position.
(3) Lower ladder into place above truck aligning water pipe connection and mounting area on turntable.
