If the bearing cones (59) were not installed on the
differential case and ring gear assembly (82),
install the cones on the differential case. Place the
case assembly (82) in a press, fit the cone
bearing (59) to the assembly and use a sleeve to
press the cone (59) in place. Cone must be
installed in contact with the shoulder on the case.

Install the cups (58) over the bearing cones on the
differential case. Use a lifting device and strap and lift
the differential case and ring gear assembly (82) up
into position on the carrier. Bearing cups (55) must
be flat and in position against the bores between the
carrier legs.
