TM 5-4210-233-14&P-1 5-34.  REAR BRAKE AIR CHAMBER - Continued b. Installation. (1)   Attach brake air chamber (6) to brake air chamber  bracket  (7)  using  washers  (5) and   nuts   (4).      Be   sure   hose   ports   in brake    air    chamber    face    away    from bracket. Tighten nuts (4) to 170 ft lb (230 N•m). (2)   Apply a light coat of pipe sealant (Item 2, Appendix   E)   to   thread   of   fittings   and install  brake  air  chamber  air  lines  (3)  to brake    air    chamber.        Tighten    fittings firmly to provide leak-proof connections. (3)   Attach   slack   adjuster   (8)   to   brake   air chamber  clevis  using  clevis  pin  (2)  and cotter pin (1). (4)   Adjust  clevis  position  and  push  rod  so that distance F from bottom of brake air chamber   to   center   of   clevis   pin   holes equals 2-5/8 ±  1/16 in. (66.7+ 1.59 mm) (see para 4-146). c. Follow-on Maintenance. (1)   Connect batteries (see para 4-114). 5-200
