(4) Turn governor yoke (5) so the smooth side is toward governor cup.
(5) Turn governor cup so that the stop pin (1 2) in the gear cover (4) will fit into one of the holes in the
cup surface.
(6) Measure the distance from the end of the stop pin (1 2) to the mounting face of the cover. It should
be 25/32 in. (19.8 mm), it is not, replace pin (12).
(7) Position pin (1 2) with open side facing crankshaft seal (9).
(8) Coat the oil seal lip with lubricating oil (Item 10, Appendix E).
