a.
Removal.
(1) Remove 2 screws (1).
(2) Remove fastener (2).
(3) Remove treads (3).
b.
Installation.
(1) Install new treads (3).
(2) Install fastener (2).
(3) Install and tighten two screws (1).
c.
Follow-on Maintenance.
(1) Connect batteries (see para 4-114).
