4-98. DASHBOARD COMPARTMENT DOORS
This task covers:
a. Removal
c. Follow-on Maintenance
b. Installation
TOOLS REQUIRED
EQUIPMENT CONDITION
Tool Kit, General Mechanics, Automotive
Main Engine Shutdown (see para 2-12 .)
(Appendix B, Section III, Item 1)
APU Shutdown (see para 2-16 .)
Batteries Disconnect (see para 4-114 .)
a. Removal.
(1) Remove six screws (1) washers (2) and nuts (3) from door side of hinge (4).
(2) Remove and replace door (5 or 6).
(3) Remove screws (7), washers (8) and nuts (9) and remove hinge (4).
b.
Installation.
(1) Install hinge (4)with screws (7), washers (8) and nuts (9).
(2) Install new door (5 or 6).
(3) Secure compartment door to hinge (4) with six screws (1), lockwashers 2) and nuts (3).

Follow-on Maintenance.
(1)
Connect batteries (see para 4-114).
