IMPORTANT
In
instances
when
checking
U-Bolts
to
determine if looseness has occurred, torque
values of 40% of the specifications would
assure joint integrity, provided the U-Bolts and
nuts were in like-new condition. However,
ALWAYS
RETORQUE
TO
ORIGINAL
SPECIFICATIONS. Rusty joints must be
disassembled, cleaned and lubricated to assure
a like-new condition prior to retorque.
SPECIAL TOOLS
SE-2050 Torque Indicator Wrench (0-600 ft. lbs.)
SE-2059 Torque Indicator Wrench (0-150 ft. lbs.)
