NOTE
To determine breakway torque, thread nut onto screw or bolt until at least two
threads stick out. Nut shall not make contact with a mating part. Stop the nut. Torque
necessary to begin turning nut again is the breakway torque. Do not reuse self-
locking nuts that do not meet minimum breakway torque.
