Removal b.   Installation INITIAL SET-UP Tools Materials/Parts General Mechanics Tool Kit Gauges and Controls as required (Appendix E, Figure E-9) Equipment Condition Para. Condition Description 2-23 Pressure Relieved in System REMOVAL a. Pressure gauge removal. NOTE This procedure is typical for all pressure gauges. (1)   Remove two nuts (1) and bolts (2). (2)   Unscrew gauge (3) from fitting (4). b. Rear control handle removal (1)   Turn  control  handle  (5)  counterclockwise  and remove. (2)   Remove  nut  (6)  and  remove  control  rod  (7) from valve (8). INSTALLATION a. Pressure gauge installation. NOTE This procedure is typical for all pressure gauges. (1)   Screw gauge (3) into fitting (4). (2)   Position  gauge  onto  control  panel  and  secure with bolts (2) and nuts (1). (3)   Pressurize    the    system    (paragraph    2-24    or 2-25). b. Rear control handle installation. (1)   Insert control rod (7) through panel and secure other end to valve (8) with nut (6). (2)   Position  control  handle  (5)  on  control  rod  (3) and secure by turning clockwise. 4-41
