ASSEMBLY
a. Idler Gear Assembly.
(2) Assemble the two bearing cones (72), spacer
(70), shims (75), and idler gear (71) on dummy
(1) Press the two bearing cups (73 and 74) in the
shaft with bore up. Check end play. Limits are
idler gear (71) (if previously removed) using
0.001 to 0.002 inch
intermediate gear bearing remover and handle.
