(b) Shaft slot face must be at least flush with

(1) Lower the countergear (18) into the case until it
rests on the bottom of the case (23).
(3) Install mainshaft assembly (5) into case with
rear of shaft protruding out of rear bearing hole

Place reverse idler gear (22) in transmission
