4-229. POWER STEERING PUMP REPLACEMENT (Continued).
f. Remove the pulley from the pump with the
water pump and power steering pulley removed.
NOTE
Be sure the pilot bottoms in the
pump shaft by turning the nut to
the top of the pilot bolt.
g. Hold the pilot bolt (1) and turn the nut (2)
counterclockwise.
INSTALLATION
a. Install the brackets (4) to the pump.
b. Install the pulley to the pump by placing the
pulley on the end of the pump shaft and
installing the power steering pump pulley

Be sure the pilot bolt bottoms in
