4-148. HOOD ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT (Continued).
INSTALLATION
a.
Place the hood (1) on the vehicle by
aligning the hood with the position marks
previously made.
b.
Install the hood hinge (2) to hood bolts (3).
c.
Torque the bolts to 18 ft-lbs (25 N-m).
d.
Install hood spring assembly (paragraph 4-
149).
e.
Install compartment lights (paragraph 4-
120).
f.
Connect battery cables.
