g. Install air cleaner (paragraph 4-83).

General Safety Instructions

Engine OFF.

Transmission in (N) neutral.

Parking brake and micro-brakelock set

Batteries disconnected.

Fire Pump and piping drained

REMOVAL

Raise vehicle.

Remove exhaust manifold bolts (1).

Remove exhaust manifold (2).

INSTALLATION

Clean threads on manifold bolts (1).

Clean sealing surfaces on exhaust manifold

(2) and cylinder head.
