Install 16 capscrews (1) and seal washers (2) to secure volute body (3) to the pump head (4). Make sure
rubber side of seal washer faces pump head. Make sure priming valve bracket is installed in proper location.
Tighten capscrews evenly to 210 ft lb (285 Nm)
(10) Install primer valve as detailed in para. 2-13.10.
(11) After fire pump has been repaired, test pump as detailed in para 2-13.14.
