Line up new cover with engine block mounting holes.
(5)
Install two capscrews lockwashers and flatwashers to attach filter cover to engine block.
(6)
Replace fuel filter inlet and outlet hoses. Be sure all unused ports are fitted with 1/4 in. pipe plugs.
(7)
Install new filter as detailed in Filter Cartridge Replacement preceding (steps 3 thru 6).
