Remove two machine screws (1), two lockwashers (2), and identification plate (3) from optical
instrument rocker (4). Discard lockwashers.

Remove three screws (5), three lockwashers (6), cap and retainer assembly (7), and battery (8) from
battery enclosure (9). Support battery enclosure. Discard lockwashers.
