EXCESSIVE OIL IN PURGE WHEN COMPRESSOR UNLOADS OR OIL IN AIR RESERVOIR
Step
1.
Check compressor air cleaner.
Replace air cleaner.
Step
2.
Check hose between engine and compressor for kinks or other obstruction.
Remove obstruction.
Replace hose (see para 4-9).
Step
3.
Check oil return line from compressor to engine.
Replace hose if kinked or obstructed (see para 4-9).
Step
4.
Notify Direct Support.

RESERVOIR PRESSURE FALLS MORE THAN 2 PSI/MIN (14 kPa/MIN) WHEN ENGINE STOPPED
Step
1.
Check reservoir draincocks.
Close/repair draincocks (see para 4-157).
Step
2.
Check all valves for leaks.
Replace valves (see para 4-145 through 4-156).
Step
3.
Listen for loss of air on all air lines and fittings. Check with bubble test.
Tighten connections or replace hose (see para 4-9).

SERVICE BRAKES WILL NOT HOLD PRESSURE

1.
Check all air lines and connections for leaks. Check with bubble test.
Repair as required (see para 4-147).
Step
2.
Check chambers for leakage.
Replace as required. Notify Direct Support.
