AUXILIARY POWER UNIT (APU) - Continued

APU Inspect - Continued

Check for tightness of electrical connections. Check

cables for damaged insulation.

Report any oil or fuel leak, loose electrical connection

or damaged cable to Unit Maintenance for repair.

Visually inspect exhaust pipe and muffler for leaks.

Check muffler is secure and intact. Report any

deficiencies to Unit Maintenance.

APU Test

Start APU as detailed in para 2-16. Let engine

run for 15 minutes. Check ammeter and voltmeter

indicate smooth 110 VAC output. Report fluctuating

output to Unit Maintenance.
