Step 1.  Check tires for proper inflation. Inflate to recommended pressure 80 psi (551.6 kPa). Step 2.  Inspect shock absorbers for damage. Replace shock absorbers (paragraph 4-185). Step 3.  Check front end for proper alignment. Align the front end. Step 4.  Check tires for proper balance. Balance rims/tires. BRAKE SYSTEM 49.  EXCESSIVE BRAKE PEDAL TRAVEL. Step 1.  Check tires for proper inflation. Inflate to recommended pressure. Step 2.  Check front end for proper alignment. Align front end. Step 3.  Inspect for worn brake lining.
