General Mechanics Tool Kit
Instrument Panel Bezel and
Dash Cover Removed
Blower Motor Removed
Heater Core Removed
Materials/Parts
Heater/Defroster Cables
RTV Sealant (1052356)
Removed
General Safety Instructions
Duct (14064924)
Engine OFF.
Transmission in (N) neutral.
Parking brake and micro-brakelock set.
Batteries disconnected.
REMOVAL
a. Remove screws (1) that hold the defroster
duct (2) to the dash panel (3).
b. Remove defroster duct (2) from beneath dash
panel (3).
INSTALLATION
a. Position defroster duct (2) beneath dash panel
(3).
b. Secure defroster duct (2) to dash panel (3)
using screws (1).
c. Install blower motor (paragraph 4-135).
d. Install heater core (paragraph 4-137)
e. Install heater/defroster cables(paragraph 4-
139).

Install instrument panel bezel and dash cover
