a. Remove bolts (1).
b. Remove crossover (6).
c. Remove the studs (7) and the water outlet (8).
d. Remove the thermostat (9) from its housing.
e. Remove and discard the old gasket (10).
Thermostat and water outlet are attached to
f. Fill the radiator with proper coolant (paragraph
the crossover along with the thermal bypass
g. Position new gaskets (2) and install crossover
(6) with bolts (1).
h. Torque bolts to 35 ft-lbs (47 N.m).
a. Install the thermostat (9) into its housing.
i. Install heater hose, upper radiator hose and
b. Install a new gasket (10).

c. Install the water outlet (8) with the studs (7).
j. Install crankcase depression regulator valve
d. Torque the studs to 35 ft-lbs (47 N-m).
k. Fill the cooling system with coolant (paragraph
